The Kinesis T2 Project.

Hi all so I am making a single speed T2, it won't be flip flop but just SS.


Here are the parts so far:

Kinesis 7075 Trainer Fork (Alu)


Tektro Levers and Cove Seat Clamp









Single speed chain and Wellgo 964 Singlecage Pedals


FSA Vero 46t single crank (got them before they were discontinued)

RaceFace 60mm Stem (reason for having it is becuase I am going to have flat bars)





That's all I have for now for the Kinesis T2

Nope, I get the frame last, I forgot to list it on the things to get. :facepalm:

Looks like its on the right direction for a well-built SS rig.

Thats also a good idea.

It did, but this man from my local cycling club gave me some Easton drops for free, so I'm gonna put drops on it now.

If you haven't already wrapped them, tip;

Pay attention to which direction you are "turning" when you wrap the bars (when you are riding you want your hands twisting the turns TIGHTER, not unwinding them) and look up methods for switching directions when you go from the flat tops to the drops themselves. Start on the flats as well so you can push the cut excess INTO the bar end holes and smoosh the end caps in. Also try to overlap each wind the same amount, it shouldn't be too hard, remembering; more overlap is better than too little. Good Luck!

Cheers Acro! I had a go and this is the outcome, I over lapped as good as I could and kept each wrap tight, by the way I don't know if I mentioned this but I'm using CX levers, just in case anyone asks why I forgot the drop levers.
