Thanks for the good words man – definitely appreciate it. I recently grabbed one of last years Doubles and built it up a similar way with a 140mm fork as sort of an all around trail shredder and I’m loving it!!
As for your situation – we always say “ask is free”, so never be afraid to do that. Unfortunately I can’t really accommodate you here. Down the road if you have an issue with your Double, we can certainly look at a crash replacement upgrade. We just can’t do a “trade-in” program like that. It wouldn’t be fair to our dealers if we allowed customers to just do a direct upgrade like that with us. Essentially you’d just have to buy one bike and then never go through a shop again
Keep shredding the Double and when she finally can’t take anymore, we’ll explore our options then. Thanks!

Sure. And it looks like cedric gracia is running a telescopic seat post at the WC. Theres a pic of him on his bike, and theres a cable running up to the seat post. Only one conclusion can be drawn from this....

And that begs the question, why not? If he can get the most efficiency from his legs during pedal portions, but be sitting to save energy for the last sprint, that advantage is decisive.
